*Update: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am currently holding all of my sessions online.
Sometimes receiving in-person therapy can be difficult or impossible due to scheduling conflicts, lack of mobility, distance, or a variety of other reasons. I feel that therapy should be accessible to anyone who needs it. In addition to my in-person sessions, I also offer video sessions or phone sessions as an easy and convenient way for you to get the help that you need. With telehealth, you can receive therapy in the privacy of your own home or another location of your choice.
What is telehealth?
Telehealth (often referred to as online therapy, video therapy, or teletherapy) utilizes video conferencing technology to connect you with a therapist in real time. Video therapy is conducted via secure online platforms.
Who is telehealth for?
Telehealth sessions are appropriate for a wide variety of clients. You may opt for online therapy because you live in a rural area or have mobility issues, or perhaps you are a busy professional or working parent who prefers to spend more time at home and less time in traffic. Whatever the reason, video therapy can be a valuable support option that can be tailored for your needs.
Please note that online therapy is not the best fit for everyone. Video therapy is commonly used with clients who have presenting symptoms that are not of a high-risk nature. If you need extensive support or frequent contact between sessions, then you may not be good candidate for teletherapy.
Please feel free to reach out to me at 323-438-9972 for a free 15-minute consultation to see if online therapy is right for you.
