Therapy isn’t just for times of crisis or deep distress — it’s for anyone who wants support, clarity, or change. If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, curious about yourself, or simply want a space to talk things through, therapy can help.
I believe that we all function our best in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment, and that therapy can give you an open space to address concerns that you might prefer not to discuss elsewhere.
-
First, we’ll schedule a consultation call, so we can decide whether it feels like a match, and how I might be able to help you.
In our work together, we’ll define your goals for therapy and start to work proactively toward those goals. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start, just curiosity, a willingness to show up, and an open mind.

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance.
Each person is unique, and it is important to me that we are able to tailor your care in a way that works best for you, and not according to the strict guidelines that insurance providers require.
However, many of my clients find that their insurance will cover some of the cost for out-of-network psychotherapy sessions, and that they can be reimbursed for part of my fee. If you have a PPO type plan, I am happy to provide you with a superbill that you can present to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
If you would like to submit a claim and seek partial reimbursement from your insurance company, I advise you to call your insurance carrier ahead of your first therapy session and ask:
If your insurance company will accept superbills from out-of-network providers
How much your insurance company will reimburse for sessions
If you have a deductible you must meet before being reimbursed
If there is a limit on the amount of sessions or amount that is covered
If telehealth covered under your plan
Some individuals choose not to use insurance or submit superbills for therapy sessions for a number of reasons. Paying privately allows you to stay in control of your care so that you can choose your therapist, decide how long you’d like to be in therapy, and set the pace and focus of your work. It also offers increased privacy, since insurance billing requires a mental health diagnosis that becomes part of your medical record.
Furthermore, opting out of insurance can give you more flexibility to explore concerns that matter to you but may not be covered by insurance, such as navigating life transitions, improving communication in relationships, increasing self-understanding and insight, or building new life skills. Without insurance requirements around diagnoses or treatment goals, therapy can remain centered on your personal growth and what feels most supportive for you.
I am happy to discuss any thoughts or concerns you may have regarding insurance during our initial consultation call.
-
I have clients that attend therapy weekly as well as clients that attend every-other-week or even monthly. I am happy to consult with you about your specific needs during our initial call.
Some clients prefer to do intensives for EMDR and Brainspotting, please inquire about different formats for sessions if desired.
-
I charge $300 for a 50-minute individual session.
I recognize that therapy is a significant investment of time, energy, and money, and I take our work together seriously.
I believe that therapy extends beyond just the time spent in the room together. I spend time in between our sessions learning, reading, researching, compiling resources, and attending advanced trainings in order to serve my clients well.
I also provide you with a wide range of resources to explore and practice in between sessions, so that you can make the most of our time together and create lasting change.
Please inquire about fees for longer sessions or intensives.
Please note: I am not in-network for any insurance plans. However, I am happy to provide you with a superbill for possible reimbursement from your insurance provider if desired.
-
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. I am also able to offer 75 or 90 minute EMDR sessions.
Please inquire about information and fees for longer sessions, or for EMDR and Brainspotting intensives.

While I specialize in trauma and anxiety therapy, I also provide therapy for a wide range of issues, including life transitions (such as grief, perimenopause/menopause, career changes), relationship challenges, and personal growth. My approach is holistic, and I work with clients of all backgrounds and life circumstances.
I do not treat young children or families, but I do work with teenagers (ages 18+).
Please be aware that, due to scheduling and staffing limitations, this practice does not provide services for high-acuity mental health concerns. These include, but are not limited to, active suicidal ideation, serious self-harm or substance abuse, psychosis, severe eating disorders, psychotic disorders (schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, etc.) or other psychiatric emergencies that require a higher level of care or crisis intervention.
This practice is best suited for individuals seeking outpatient, non-emergency support. If it becomes clear that your needs fall outside the scope of what can be safely and effectively provided here, I will make every effort to offer appropriate referrals to more specialized or intensive services.
Due to state licensing laws, I can only provide therapy to residents of California and Florida.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, commonly known as the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. It is recommended that once you receive your good faith estimate you keep a copy for your records or take a picture for future reference. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call HHS at 1-800-985-3059.
