In this HuffPost feature, I shared insight on one of the lesser-talked-about tools in a narcissist's arsenal: the "flying monkey." Whether a well-meaning friend, a conflict-avoidant family member, or a willing ally, flying monkeys do the narcissist's bidding (often without fully realizing it) — carrying out harassment, guilt-tripping, and information-gathering on their behalf.
